this is only happening in the states, its cos americans are kinda dumb, and movies and music have to be catered for and adapted to american society's simple minds and inarticulate logic, and cos theyre running out of ideas so they do remakes and covers

Well, there is a myth/idea/whatever that I truely believe. That is that there are only so many stories in existance. this has always been so. The trick is to tell the stories in new and interesting ways! As for the industries? Well, that stems from the fact that we value quality over quality in this society. There is always the push to put something new out, something... anything! Everyone wants to make money. Everyone wants their name known. We have an insatiable need for entertainment that the system tries to satisfy. Technology has gotten so advanced that we now have so much time for and so much access to entertainment. If we still had to work in the fields or whatever, we would truely only have time for story hour once in awhile and it would make us appreciate it more. Only the best stories would be passed along.
We do not have to spend so much time and energy to survive anymore. We fill up our lives with useless crap. Is it any wonder that Hollywood and the presses try to make money by giving us what we accept...and that is...well... crap!

Nobody wants to spend time visualising the concept or working on the same. Now a days every thing is readily available and every one wants to do the things fast and so they are lacking in the creativity.
Some one is copying something from some body and still so arrogant that he labels it as if the same has been done by him.
So when every one is in haste and wants to do many thing in shorter time inspiration from other or copying from others are the only short cuts available. So creativity is not found.
Formally we were made fools but now a days due to Internet the world has become very small and before the movie or music is out every one knows that it is copies from which original>>>

Yes. We're at the days called the "end times" One of the earmarks is everything melds together in a homogeneous soup where mediocrity is the norm and creativity seems to have fallen by the wayside. I hate to tell you this - but the great books have all been written. The great songs have already been recorded and the junk that passes for movies and entertainment - whew!!

These are not memorable times? You have got to be kidding me! Maybe people are using their creativity is productive ways (in business, politic, families) and not putting it into the arts.
I mean the technological innovations - new ways to deal with an ever shrinking world - homeschooling chiildren - lots of creativity there. Historically the 10-20 years before and after the century mark are filled with amazing advances, brought about by creativity. That is certainly what we are seeing now, in my opinion.

Hmm, good question. We are in a state of dryness and only time will tell if it subsides.
