I don't think that it means that you are cheating. Maybe he doesn't think that he is getting enough sleep or you are getting enough sleep in the same bed. I am not married, but I love sleeping on couches, and maybe he is in a mood to just sleep on the couch.
Three times a week is pretty healthy to have sex too. There are a lot of people that do not have it that much in a month.

If your man is sleeping alone on a couch instead of a bed something is up. If the bed really is too hard for him, then it's time the two of you go out and buy a mattress that you can both sleep on together. If you get a new mattress and he still sleeps on the couch - then start to worry he might be cheating.

Get a new bed. The couch is soft. I wish I still had sex 3 times a week. Have him help you pick out a new mattress and break it in together. If 3 times a week isn't enough consider a dildo to help you get by when he's not around. Suprise him in the shower. Clean him up and let your hands do the talking. Giving each other a shower can be extremly exciting. The feel of your soapy body bumping against his will give him a few ideas

Tell him that you and him should go out together and buy a new bed that both of you will feel comfortable in so that you can sleep in the same bed. See what his reaction is and what he has to say about that. If he still finds an excuse to say that the new bed in uncomfortable then something is up! Dont be a fool with this and and i wish you luck!

Well, 3 times a week is actually a lot. Most couples only have sex about once a week. Can the two of you get a new bed that will be good for him too? It doesn't sound like he is cheating.

If he's sleeping at home with sex 3 times a week. Your bed's too hard. The relationship sounds healthy to me. I would see about getting a air topper for his side and see if it helps. Keep trying options. Tell him you feel this is a problem and try to get it resolved. If he doesn't seem to have interest to. You may have a problem then.
