Oh, I am a Halloweenie! Here are some of my best:
Nude colored unitard (for dancers, tank, no feet) and I got some faux flower garland and made a crown and wrapped it over the torso and down one leg and I was Artemis / Daphne / a Wood Nymph. Put some wings on and you are a fairy.
I was a headless woman one year. I got a hairdresser's head (flesh colored with hair) and make a form out of styrofoam (a kind of table with a hole in the middle - for stability - that sat on my shoulders and the crown of my head in the hole). The I put a long coat on over the form over my head (covering the top of my head with an ascot scarf) and i left the second button open so I could see. I then pinned the sleeve in the pocket and stuck the head in the loop the sleeve made - my Best ever!
I was a punk rocker one year - the best part of which was i scotch taped a safety pin on my cheek. That freaked people out - and then i ripped it off my face (lol - they went green before they realized it was a trick!).

A friend of mines wife dresses up as a dead prom queen. She took first place in the costume contest.

I won a prize for Sherlock Holmes, but I had fun as a bloody werewolf with a bullet hole in my chest. Yes, I'm a girl, but girly costumes always seem so wimpy...

I'm a girl and I went as Boy George last year...it was an awesome costume, if I do say so myself!

good question. a little early though dont u think? i went as shirley temple one year. just get a really curly wig and and old fashioned dress. or put some colorful balloons in a garbage bag and wear it and ull look like jelly beans! or get a pink bunny costume!

Just cuz I'm a girl doesn't mean it had to be all foofy! Once I was the creature from the black lagoon - now I am dating myself. Oh yeah and harpo from the Marx brothers.
