Pull the power cord on the cable modem. Wait a minute. Put the cord back in. The cable modem needs to be rebooted when you change computers its connected to.

THAT'S STRANGE, HOW ARE YOU ABLE TO ASK THIS QUESTION? ANYWAY YES THE BEST THING TO DO IS CALL THE CABLE COMPANY, 3WEEKS AGO I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. I SPENT A LITTLE TO AND FIGURED IT OUT. YOU MAY WANT TO CHECK AND SEE IF YOU USED THE DISK THAT CAME WITH THE MODEM AND OR THE ONE FROM YOU ISP PROVIDER. THAT IS WHAT MY PROBLEM WAS. BUT OF COURSE IT WAS THE VERY LAST THING I CHECKED. ALSO MAKE SURE ALL THE LIGHTS ON THE MODEM ARE ON. IF NOT TURN EVERY THING OFF AND BACK ON. THERE ARE A FEW SIMPLE THINGS TO CHECK, BUT IF ALL ELSE FAILS CALL LARRY......... YOU KNOW, "THE CABLE GUY". fcs

I would suggest calling your cable company. They will probsbly be at your place to help you out some time between 10:00 am tomorrow and November, 2012.
