mtv was made for music but the only time they show music videos is by 1 am... why???

Yes, that's a good question. It's too bad that MTV is not following its format. Perhaps the dating shows get higher ratings than the music videos. They should intrdouce another stations for their shows and keep mtv dedicated to music videos.

The sad but true dumbing down of America. people want to see everyone elses life - it makes them forget their own reality.
More people voted for american idol than the president and they dare have the nerve to complain about politics.
dating is something they can relate to they can feel like they know this person. music they hear on the radio - now radio is being overrun by morning shows and talk shows.
People have a short attention span playing the same 30 songs over and over again makes people sick. more sponsors support shows instead of videos.

Because mtv is over rated and gay not to be mean i just think maybe you should watch fuse tv they are much better.i am more of a heavy metal babe my self and i enjoy watching music vidos just as much as you do i dont like the outher **** that is not music vidos

Fuse is part of MTV's monopoly...also is LOGO, the gay channel...you get them all with the DirecTV Big bundle....but yes, bring back the MTV from the Queen era...it was videos 24/7...

b/c as long as viewers keep on viewing those dating shows
they will make more and more of them with a different spin to it
so ask, plead, beg your friends or whoever you know watches them to stop watching them
