It really depends. If a minor is using myspace and they put all sorts of personal information on their myspace then it could be dangerous as sexual preditors are lurking out there. Parents should really monitor their child's myspace.
My daughter & I have a great relationship and I monitor her's all the time. She shows it to me, she even gave me her password so I can monitor some of her friends for their parents because their kids have their myspace set to private.

Common sense today...is uncommon. Think of myspace as a park at night with bushes that overlap the running path. Now there are lamplights but they are 100 feet apart. Now you know that the forest around this park is so thick that if you were to scream...chances are that no one would hear you.
Now ask yourself how you would go about navigating this park at night...and apply that common senseto Myspace and have a great time. If he sounds too good to be true...or if you are picking up a vibe that is warning you off...you know what to do.
Intelligence is the application of common sense...not the brandishing of your Mensa card. Be safe...be smart and have a good time. Peace.

i dont think its dangerous. but i wouldnt let a child under the age of 12 on there. its only dangerous for the kids and people who make it dangerous for themselves. dont put anything on there you dont want the world to see. 1 thing i dont agree with is how myspace puts the name of the city you signed up with on your page. other than that i think its a pretty secure website.

I believe it is. Myspace needs to take extreme measures to stop these dangers, because anyone can lie about their age to get what they want.

yes it is the cause of a lot of problems if your not getting hit on by a 37 yesrold man some is stealing your pic and useing it at a porn site .
