Take some time to be alone doing something you really enjoy. Tune out the world for an hour. Take a hot bubble bath with some scented candles and the lights turned low with your favorite CD playing softly. (Just don't fall asleep :P)

sorry they're such jerks too many work places expect you to skip breaks and lunches and look at you like a freak if you actually take a break. It's the law take it, cause when you don't work there anymore you'll really wish you hadn't tried so hard to make the people see you as a hard worker because no matter what they do they will think you won't do enough.

sad but true. Don't they know it's the law for a reason! grrr

Take you're break breath relax listen to music. Because working through your breaks will just make you that much more upset.

you just sound a little run down.

you won't be grumpy forever so just be a little nicer to yourself for a while.

Have that cream bun on the way home from work, stay in the shower for an extra 5 mins, watch you favourite film, read a really cool book and buy lots of chocolate.

this too shall pass

Fresh air everyday, exercise (even just a small walk everyday) get soem sunshine if you can everyday it naturally is a mood booster and try thinking of something that makes you smile and feel relaxed - i think of the first time i met my husband i took him to a kids park and after an hour of talking i kissed him (he never been kissed before by anyone past the 2nd grade) and the kiss was soft, sweet and slow and that thought calms me down and makes me smile which brightens my day or night :p Just need to find your own momment that lifts your mood.

hey....you need to take a little break (as in a holiday!) its really easy to make being grumpy a normal thing. I was always grumpy with my boyfriend....and i realised i was good with everyone but him, strange enough he is most especially good to me compared to other people....i had to do some quick thinking before i lost this gem!

Just remember life is too short. Keep on reminding yourself, "is it really worth losing a couple of hours of my life over something so insignificant." I know its hard, but overtime it'll work.
