Speaking hypothetically:

I'm sick of dial-up, and I was thinking about cable until a problem came up. I hope you can guess what it is by the question above. Any suggestions?

Get DSL it is just as fast and it uses a phone line, and plus no one has to come to your house to hook it up. It also costs less than cable internet.

Cable is the best? NOT! The cable companies put the screws to anyone and everyone they can. Plus, the service is crap compared to satellite. The cable company can discover your enhanced service wheter you have internet or not. You;re still hardwired directly to the cable company if you have cable connected to your tv, right?

Dude...seriously...lose the bogus cable connection. Getting caught ain't worth the tit on a fly. And that is a mild suggestion. The cablecompanies are serious...and they willmake sure that shows up when your boss to be checks your background for a good job. Theft of service and of proprietary property are not words that thrill potential employers. Please think about it. Peace.

Ahhh! The best is cable. I'm a cable tech. and they will put the dreaded "trap" on your line. If your cable is underground you can easily take it back off but if it is ariel you will need a 28' ladder to take it off.
