It's supposed to be some kind of program that will bounce back viruses to the sender, from what I understand.

In computers, a mirror is a second hard drive in a computer that runs alongside the first that contains a constantly updated DUPLICATE copy (mirror) of the other disk. This way, if one disk fails, the other still has everything and you don't lose any data.
