For example: When I'm driving alone I sometimes think of something that made me laugh histerically, then I laugh aloud, and sometimes other motorists think I'm nuts or something. LOL

I can't help it - I laugh at stuff that runs across my brain all the time! My co-workers are used to me so they don't give me a hard time anymore, unless I'm laughing a lot!!! - then they want to know what it was all about. I say don't worry, keep laughing no matter what anyone else thinks - it makes us happy & it makes you feel good to recall better times & funny things!!! Live, Love, Laugh!!!

Yes! In the car, same as you, getting strange looks from other drivers. At home, where my cat laughs with me, though he has no idea why. Sometimes I start laughing harder because I think "Well, how silly is this, laughing at a memory all alone?" It's fun, it's ludicrous, it feels good.

I laugh out loud whenever I can. People can think I'm nuts all they want, they might be right. They're just mad because I have a reason to laugh and they don't.

yes I do, I often think of funny things in my head and laugh out loud. London is full of nutters though so no-one bats an eyelid, they just think "oh another person escaped from the loony bin"

Ya and somtimes ill do it at work or something and then ill try not to laugh or think of it. or ill think of it at some random time and i cant stop laughing long enough to tell someone why the hell im laughing!

i dont laugh out loud. i just smile to myself. But, this really is a good fake reason to give when the lecturer asks you when you start laughing out loud on somebodys comment to him.
