Which international airport? There are 5 London international airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, City, Luton)

Nearest airport to Brighton is Gatwick and the quickest easiest way to travel is by train, which is direct to Brighton from the station at the airport.

Fare changes depending on day/time of travel, from 7.50 GBP for a standard day single fare.

See www.nationalrail.co.uk for timetables and fares

From Gatwick (the airport closest to Brighton), bus is about £10 return, and train is about £16 return. Bus takes about an hour each way; train takes about 30 minutes each way.
