my experience: i can dance and am flexible. i have been in some plays being lead roles, done scits. and i am going 2 do a voice for a friends cartoon movieish thing. i am in vocal class at skool which helps with different sounds, i have many different characters i can do, and can switch moods quickly.

Join the drama department at your school. When you go to college, major in drama and get a BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree), after that, go to graduate school (New York University in New York City) and get an MFA (Master of Fine Arts in Theater.)

Finally, if you are any good, you may get a role as an extra on a soap opera.

Forget showbiz, it's a hard gig - too many talented people out there already working. If you want to be in the industry - get a job working for a talent agent or casting director.

Have you any experience? You can join community theaters in your area to gradually build up your talent and confidence.

To get into films you would need an agent. To get an agent you need headshots. Headshots - good ones - cost $$$.

To get into voiceovers (difficult to get because so many celebrities are now doing them) you might want to get some vocal training. See if any colleges or acting schools near you offer vocal or character voice training.
