North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell would be a really good book to compare and contrast, just simply due to the class clashes, and the pride that the two female characters have in light of their suitors.
And just to mention, I think Sandra B kind of lost the point of the question there! Great answer- but to what question? lol

In addition to the great suggestions above...Bridget Jones's Diary is a good one, but I'm not sure if you will be able to do that one due to the language (I'm assuming you are in high school). If you want to do another classic, maybe Jane Eyre. You could compare the types of prejudice experienced by Jane to that in Pride and Prejudice. Jane also had 2 suitors. You could compare the differences/similarities of Mr. Rochester/Mr. Darcy. That would be an easy one to compare/contrast to or another Austen book, Emma. There are some definite similarities between Emma and Pride and Prejudice and the two main men in the books.

Sandra B--what are you smoking? Pride and Prejudice is the title of a CLASSIC novel. She is not talking about the separate aspects of "pride" and "prejudice."

Sense & Sensibility or Jane Eyre seem obvious, but to stretch a little, maybe Gone With the Wind or Great Expectations. There are some interesting similarities and differences with those.

Bridget Jones' Diary by Helen Fielding is supposedly a loosely based modernization of P&P; they even both have a Mr. Darcy!

Edit- Wives and Daughters mentioned below was written by Elizabeth Haskell who also wrote other very good period novels of that time...I also liked her North and South (not to be confused with the John Jakes novel with the same title.)

becouse interior the begging of the e book Mr. Darcy is prejudice( damaging opinion or feeling shaped formerly or with out information, concept, or reason) of Elizabeth family contributors. later on and becouse of it Elizabeth is basically too delight(finished) to admit her felling to Mr.Darcy. P.S. i replace into going back over the different question, i think of, it truly is kinda cool that have been individual who has examine or considered the numerous video clips(mini series) has there very own very own theory who's delight and who's Prejudice. This has truly given me an theory for a question, I the variety you do no longer suggestions.

I'd try other Jane Austen books. I think they're all aorund the same setting, and the story's are kind of like one another.

pride is to me that you cannot admit when you are wrong... and to much pride to ask for help if they were lost on the highway...and prejudice to me is that a person does not like a certain race, creed,, and refuses to even associate with them....i know men that have to much pride to let anyone see them cry and let their feelings show...i know some people that are real prejudice against negroes... and some negroes have to much pride to lower their selves to hang around with white guys and listen to them...will not work with them...also a person needs to have enough pride to keep thier home clean and to keep there self looking as good as they can too..i hope i am explaining this the way i want it to sound, but i have tried to anyway...
