Battery still shows full charge, but when I turn the key, nothing. Also no horn, lights, nothing...

The fuses panel was located underneath the seat next to the battery box on my '79 Yamaha 750.

Always give year, make engine size and "model #" when asking questions. A Virago has a couple of fuses under the meter panel in the center of the handle bars. But I think your problem is the main fuse under the seat or the ignition switch is bad.

If i'm thinking right the fuses for your bike is in the wiring under the gas tank.

under the seat, probably your main fuse,you had any fat chicks on the back of that bike?

try jumpering the ignition switch...the barrel tends to fill up with crud giving an open circuit.

Your spark plug is probably bad
