Why is everything in Hollywood either a remake of an old movie or a tv show turned movie? Please give us something we can enjoy!!

There's too much risk in putting out something bold and new.
The current trend seems to be to wrap up something old that has been tested before and succeeded in a shiny new package with the confidence that more money can be made off of it.

They're out of ideas, or maybe there aren't enough movie-adaptable books being written. Even indie stuff has gone downhill. Look overseas, or to Mexico and S. America, some great film coming out from there.

oh, yeah! there is a new Wayans brothers movie coming out, that was an old BUGS BUNNY CARTOON! come on!
The new Dr. Who has had some really neat, new, and original stuff lately, though. Check it out.

It showed that the originality have to be appreciated high, since lately creative people are getting fewer and fewer.
