If you are late 20's or older and taking for that long, maybe you should consider Zanax. It seems to be better for women and their chemcial makeup.

I have been taking Lexapro for about two years myself, since I got back from Iraq. It doens't seem to have any negative effects on me. I know that I have to stay on it because when I miss a day, I mentally don't feel to great....

I take it, and I haven't had any trouble. There is another med called Celexa that is really similar to Lexapro, so if you have some concerns maybe you can ask your doctor about that.

I can't really tell when i'm taking it, but if i dont take it i get anxious, kind of down in the dumps, and i dont really feel like doing much. It helps me for sure, even though i only take a small dose.
