Crouch is a waste of space as all england players like to play the ball along the ground are to their feet and crouch is only useful with his head. Walcott deserves his chance along with Rooney as his pace will scare the life out of defenders and with Rooneys brilliance they will be a brilliant team and im a catholic from N.Ireland.

There's always the possibility that Walcott is the saviour of English football sent in our darkest hour to relieve Crouch and Rooney of the burden of winning.

Oh look! A flying pig!

walcott wont be featuring in any part of this world cup, unless if england is winning 3-0 against ecuador, he may come on for last 15mins, just to get a lil taster

crouch is no where near international class....

rooney will play upfront as a lone striker....

but if he struggles, joe cole or gerrard can join him up front. england maybe facing a lil tactical problem upfront but its not a crisis. Besides, even when owen was playing, its not as if he was on his way to collect the golden boot :p

england has more than enough quality midfield players who can either play upfront or link up n score goals..... gerrard, lampard, j.cole to name a few..... its def not all doom n gloom

what other choices ya got, but playing walcott in such a game is either going to make or break him . Imagine how he feels, reserve football to internationalist its roy of the rovers stuff,i hope it works out for the lad,as for crouch fits in with his own teams style but with england he's a fish out of water .
