not always they work on a profit system that relies on your wallet. clone computers are good and cheaper but what happens when the consulting company folds and you need your computers, will you be able to get help, with a name brand help is always a phone call or email away.

If this is a cheaper and more reliable way to do things, then it's in the best interest of the client. However, their obvious motive here is to earn a profit for themselves, so it's doubtful that this is a good idea. What kind of business offers consulting services and builds computers anyway?

The thing is, even if their motive is to make more money, it still might be the right thing to do. As long as they can provide a quality product that meets the guarantee and warranty of the name brand, and they can provide equal or better customer service than the name brand guys. This is highly unlikely though.

So, to answer your question, I would say no. But I wanted to give you some things to think about.
