I think that when I first saw him in Fast and the Furious(I) he was the SH!T but now I have moved on to cuter...occasionally when I see him tough like in Into the Blue I thought WOW!!! THAT man is smokin'!!!

He tries a lot of different roles, probably hoping to be versatile, but all the time he still carries the same character on screen - same voice, same gestures, same actions, same walk. Only his role changes, but not his character. I'd say that's not versatile.
