Radon gas is usually a problem in a basement type enclosure...becuase of poor ventilation. A concrete floor by itself should not be a problem with most house designs, as the living space usually has enough of an air exchange to get the radon out.

You could ask a contractor for some names of folks who have concrete slabs, or floors, and then ask those home-owners if it would be ok to test their homes for radon. That would give you a good idea of what to expect, in your area.

its okay as long as its not in a basement or something below ground where the gas can seep in and gather with no air circulation, but i was under the impression you only needed to worry about radon if you live on granite bedrock, so unless you do, dont worry about it...
