Being romantic is way better.... It is the proper way to show love... This goes way beyond logic... This comes from the heart! I would much rather be married to a romantic loving family oriented man then a man that is not romantic or loving or family oriented at all.

I think it's a lot harder to find someone who is both practical and romantic, but it's definitely worth the wait. When you are in a relationship with someone, you tend to turn to them to talk over matters large and small - work issues, problems with family or friends, anything! A practical partner will be there every day of your life to give you sound advice. So many of my friends/family have married irrational, impractical men, and they have made bad decision after bad decision in their life due to bad advice.
However... while it's great to find someone practical to act as a sounding board for your ideas, it's refreshing to find someone romantic. The other day, my husband asked me to fix his computer for him, and imagine my surprise when I found a Tiffany jewelry box next to his laptop! We have been married for almost 4 years, too! Thoughtful surprises, romantic getaways - these are some of the things that keep a long term relationship fun and interesting. I married someone who is both romantic and practical, and I am thankful for that everyday.

Is there such a thing as a practical romantic? No one wants to be with someone who is always practical, every one needs some romance. On the other hand, no relationship can survive without practical sense and at least one person who can keep things grounded.

being logical doest involve love and not being hurt. being romatic means to love and to get hurt. well i go with being ROMANTIC because to be loved or to get dumped that will add up to my personal experience and growth.

I prefer to love logically...
love alone is too confusing. You have to use your brain in situations too!
