what a loser !
why would he think a kid have enough money for him.
Kick him out and get a restraining order. He cannot get an order to force you to pay him anything.
Actually, you can force him to pay you until you are 21

I am really sorry.....if he needs money to stay out of prison for 30 years.....he must have done something really bad......my dad left me to go on the road with Jimmy Buffet...came back 7 years later....his story has been that he was following his dream.....now I have a daughter....almost six months old....I had an opportunity to "follow my dream and work with Tom collichio in New York City"....the chef on "America's Top chef".....but I can't stand the thought of being away for my daughter anymore than my work day......she is my dream and you should have been your father's.....he is just using you....if you have enough to keep him out of jail....which must be....thousands and thousands...maybe hundreds of thousands....and he stays out of jail...he will only be using you and brake your heart all over again.....he doesn't deserve you.....but your mom does...stick together and if he really cares about you...he will write you from jail.....some people don't deserve to be so easily forgiven....I hope my truth doesn't hurt you....peace

tell him no way you are the "man" of the house now and he can go get a job or ask a friend for the money and if it's to stay out of jail for 30 years maybe what he did he should sit and think about what he did to you and your family and how he treated you
i say let him go to jail and think about what he has done to you!!!

Honestly if it were me I would probably give him the money if I had it...holding a grudge only consumes YOUR time and YOUR energy .not his so why waste that .... forgive and forget
and remember no matter how mad you are at him or how much you think you hate him ...he IS still your father and maybe he figured the best thing for you guys was for him to leave ... otherwise your lives would have been a lot worse

everyone has a different point of view, and what they think is best. in my opinion i would tell him to stay of our families life. let him know that you needed him when you were small, and he was never there. i would never give him help b/c they don't know how it is living without a father. i don't have my father in my life and ive never needed him,but i thank my mom for raising me. so there it is i wouldn't f this guy, but i hope you do what you think is best............good luck

Tell him to bugger off. He wasn't there for you when you were in need - why should he expect the same of you?
He officially released you of all fillial obligations the second he walked out the door.

tell him to kiss off !!! he left your family a long time ago ....
he thinks your family is a easy way to get free money
and not have to pay back, he will take the money and run and they
[police] can get you for adding and abetting a felon..
don`t give him anything or do anything for him. don`t let him in your house or life..
