A mouse can still be a mouse if it goes outdoors. A rat is a rat and a mouse is a mouse. Mice are smaller than rats, rats are those large things you find in sewers and stuff.

no that's not true i have had both as pets and honestly a rat is cleaner than a mouse and you can tell the differences by the tail A rats' tail will be thick and rough with fine hair all over it and front teeth are much bigger and can grow right through the skin so you must keep their teeth filed down

Mice and rats are 2 thoroughly diverse animals. Neither can replace into the different,Ever. in case you have a toddler mouse it won't replace right into a rat, the two, purely an grownup mouse.

Thats a clever question, I would scientifically guess that the answer is no to this question, however seeing that the are so quick and nimble I am not sure I could ever get close enough to the rodent outdoors to make the analysis of its species
