It just does not seem fair when the vast majority of religious peolpe in the U.S. are Christians. Yet we all have to show love and tollerace towards Muslims in order to be politically correct. When Islam always has been and will be spread by the sword and the enemy of the western world!!!

More over, the majority of Americans are christians. Is not america a majority wins country. That is how we elect our leaders. Futhermore, muslims show no hesitation in letting the world know that Iran, Suduia Arabia, and many other nations are Islamic states. I think the western world should let the rest of the world know that we are still CHRISTIANDOM

Good question. I really think any large group or organization of "do-gooders" scare them. Christian people all belong to an idea of brotherhood regardless of which "church" you attend. We have power and are ruled by a higher power than them and certainly cannot be swayed by money.
We do not "change with the times" but are steadfast in our deeply held love of God, Family and Country.
Unfortunately, God also gives us a commandment to love our enemies and pray for them.
Our forefathers founded this country in the pursuit of religious freedom. We claim the privelege of worshiping the Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscious and allow all people the same privelege. Let them worship how, where or what they may.
It will all work itself out in the end,

Your question is so cute, complex and embarrassing and it needs a broad spectrum of analysis, however I'll try to be concise. First, politics has no religion and politicians' religion is their interest and the way to achieve power, for example, the American and European governments donate land and aids for Muslims to build mosques in their country while they refuse to do so for other christian groups, simply because they want to appear on good terms with Muslims to avoid their retaliation, while any other religion groups never Think of this. Second, politics has no principle except what determines their interests and power; (the main principle is to have no principle). Third, there is a difference between a religion and its followers. But the worst thing is to have power and dominate through religion. And this is the difference between the Western culture and Eastern (definitely Middle East) culture. The main principle in the Middle East is that Islam is a religion and a state(politics), while in the Western Culture politics and Christianity are separated (Give Caesar what is Caesar's, and give God what is God's.). This is the golden principle that the Western culture has come up with after a long era of religious persecution. However, the western people misunderstand the Middle Eastern cultures and sometimes give up their principles and values to satisfy the Muslim groups. Don't forget that America has created Usama Ben Ladin and Israel has created Hamas, and by so doing they have long been playing with fire and now we are seeing the results.

Because atheism is a political position just like Christianity and the way some politicians promote Christianity against the indifferent many! So do you suggest people should be politically incorrect? So do you want to be like Islam which you claim to have been spread by sword? I tell you Muslim fanatics, where i live say the same thing about the 'kristin' world and call open minded, liberal and atheistic Muslims a Western conspiracy against Islam!!!

It's really quite simple. People who have power also have problems with accepting that someone has more power than they do, and since Jesus our Christ is the only God (that's with a capital "G"), the only challenge they have to their power is Jesus our Christ and those that follow Him. The other religions don't cause them the same deep fear because they have no real God, and so they only attack in retaliation or in defense of the followers of those religions, such as is our case with the muslims. Just remember that those that attack Jesus our Christ are scared of Him. That's not a bad emotion to have if they're against Him. At least they have that part right. God Bless you.

Because some of the politicians actually believe in the separation of Church and State. I don't see Muslims trying to get gay marriage banned, or ban abortions.
As far as Islam goes, I'm not going to say anything on that subject. That's a can o worms.

Evangelical christians talk out of both sides of their mouth, that's why. On one side, they say that they "preach the word of god." But on the other side, they preach the gospel of politics. They continually meddle in political matters when the Bible shows that Jesus plainly refused political office. Before he was killed, he told Pontius Pilate "My kingdom is not from this source," meaning his kingdom or government was SEPERATE from the government of men. Yet, evangelicals continue to influence policies of governent. This isn't right, either from a religious standpoint, or a political one. And that's why politicians "stomp" on Christianity.

It is the close mindedness of most christians that cause this for themselves...like other people of other religions...everyone thinks that THIER religion is the right one...no exceptions...
When christians can stop damning everyone that disagrees with them to hell....(like islamist fundamentalists), and proclaiming this and that for the will of GOD, or in the NAME of GOD, than maybe things would be different...it makes you all sound hypocritical....thus is the bane of organized religion, here in America...it's Christianity...and yes christians ARE by nature hypocritical! christians and muslims "hate" each other, kill each other (historically)...and this is GOD like? Islam and Christianity are mirror images of each other in their ideologies and MIS-interpretations of their holy texts..... truth be told!

do you have an example of what you're talking about?
so you want a state religion? that's working out really well for those countries you mentioned...
and you can say: " I would like to thank the good lord Christ for helping me graduate high school" and no one will do anything to you... maybe give you a dirty look... but it's their right to look at you how they want...
BigBadBoo: unfortunetely he said that? well it's clear you TOTALLY MISSED THE POINT OF THE BIBLE... good job

I am Christian, but that is my personal belief and I do not want my government telling how to be Christian, that I should be Christian, that Christian is better than anything else, or to impose it's interpretation of Christian values on me. Stay out of my bedroom, faith and family! Government doesn't belong there!
