Hello all my entomologist friends. Is it true or false that bees and wasps can be poisoned by their own venom? Did i read that somewhere or am i just making it up?

Yes, wasps kill each other.
Bees loose their stinger and die after a sting.
I have never seen them sting another bee.

they can be killed by their own venom but ive never heard of a wasp and suiside
