So earth will complete a complete rotation on its axis in 6 hrs instead of 24 hrs. So we have on average 3 hrs days & nights.It will also affect the distance of earth from sun. In nutshell the life on earth will be in danger.

the day/night cycle will be 6=24/4 hours. The humans will adapt quite fast, plants & animal probably will too. There might be some changes in climate, with day/night temperature fluctuations getting smaller.

centripetal force would slam us to the surface., coast to coast flight would take 1.5 hrs, the surface temp would decrease, Coriolis effect would make us travel in a curved path. The path around th sun would be altered.

It'd make a day about 6hrs long, as you can imagine, it'll cause a bit of disruption to flora and fauna.
Despite what you may think we won't fly off into space.

Our year would be 4 times less, while our day will be 4 times LONGER. Man these people can't tell time.

some of me and my friends have talked about this. we think that the earth would actually reshape its self through out the day,and would dramaticaly mess with the temp.

A day won't be 24 hours any more, it will probably be 6 hours long. Which means that day and night will be approx. 3 hours long..... gosh, that'd suck.....

oh yeah, and it will probably be something like "the day after tommorow", because it would probably change our climate.

Our efficiency would decrease. Beacause what we do now in a day would take four days then!!!!
