The reason is they were never taught how to be the head of the house whole, and to be a man. we all are to love one another not to controll them or over power them, its called respect.

They do it because they can. They think it's a macho thing to do this, but a real man will resist the urge to hurt his woman. He thinks you are his property and he has a right to treat you this way. He doesn't know how to communicate what he wants from you, so he believes that this behavior will get his point across. What he needs to realize is he is pushing the woman he loves away and causing more harm than good. No woman wants to do a damn thing for a man who tries to make her do it, especially if he's being violent or threatening violence. He needs to grow up and get real balls!

its because the women they are with ALLOW them to do that...all the women have to do is find their own backbone and learn to stand up for themselves and realize they don't have to depend on anyone at all to be able to live....... if more women would love themselves before they try to let someone else love them we would have a lot less domestic violence in the world and more happy women ..... and remember a person only does as much as another person allows them to do
