AC has a lot of molds growing in it and often cause swollen glands in people. The cold air can contribute to starting a cold in a person with a weak immune system.

No. Colds and flus are caused by coming into contact with the cold or flu virus. Usually by touching something that an infected person has touched recently and not washing your hands before touching one of your own mucus membranes, (ie, mouth, eyes, nose, etc).

But air conditioning can cause the air to become too dry, causing your nose and sinuses to become overly dry and sensitive. If you purchase a nasal saline spray and occasionally spray it into your nasal passages, it helps keep the membranes hydrated and minimize any issues with low humidity.

On the other hand, if your A/C unit or vents haven't been cleaned in quite a while, they could be blowing dust or mold/mildew particles into the air. If someone has an allergy to either of those it could cause cold or flu type symptoms.

The cold air will not cause colds or flu. However, it is possible that in a building with central air, germs could be circulated. It is unlikely however that the average person will get sick from air conditioning.

Yes it potentially could because if you close all the windows and turn the A/C on, the microbes and bacteria in the air circulate over and over.
That's why people take extra vitamin C or zinc before bording a flight. You might want to buy the best air filter for your A/C.
