Such as: Landmarks, tourist traps, resturants, anything. I'm going very soon and have no idea what to do! Any answers are appreciated!

Here's the link to the state tourist bureau with detailed information about the Twin Cities. For fun things to do (clubbing, night life) get a hold of a concierge (or a bellman) at a large downtown hotel (either Mpls or St Paul) and ask them for recommendations! They will know.

If at all possible, get over to Lake Calhoun and Lake Harriet for some great people watching.

I couldn't think of a 'tourist trap' until I tried to find one! Just scroll down on the second link and there are some listed---but most are about the Mall of America. Even at the bottom of the 2nd link there are more suggestions so HOPEFULLY you won't be bored.

Please have fun!
PS Just added a link for picutures around the Twin Cities--get to look at!

We love to see : The Metrodome (doesn't really matter if you're a sport fan or not-try to catch a game-it's an architectural wonder!), Mall of America, Children's Museum (St Paul-a whole downtown of sights within one walking tour), and the Minnesota Zoo. It's a great place for vast city parks and the riverbank areas of the Mississippi River are neat, too. We adore Famous Dave's BBQ in St Paul, which is one of the original sites for them and has fun decor, and sampling the Food Courts in Mall of America is a culinary adventure. You'll have a grand time!

In addition to the other ideas already mentioned, Mill City Museum (lots of fun hands-on stuff and often smells like fresh baked bread), Bandana Square or the Jackson Street Roundhouse (to see model trains), Como Zoo and Conservatory (it's free and there's a cool old carousel), James J. Hill House, the Walker Art Center (recently updated, very cool. they have family events), the Bell Museum of Nat'l History, the Bakken Museum (electricity and magnetism, hands-on stuff), the Depot downtown (hotel with waterpark and indoor skating rink). Oh, and definitely spend some time at the chain of lakes (probably Lake Harriet, which is where more families hang out) and Minnehaha Falls. Linden Hills is a very nice neighborhood with cute shops by Lake Harriet. Have fun!
