There is no right amount of time. My husband and i got married on our third date. It's been 13 years and four children and we are renewing our vows on our anniversary this August. Some couple are together five years or more then get married and seperate in six months. It all depends on the relationship, the marriage and the amount of love between you too that makes a marriage work. Good luck hun

Depends on how old you are. I was 16 when I started dating my husband. We got married when I was 20. If you're 25 I'd say 2 years to 5 years. and the older you get the shorter the time. Especially if you want kids...and you don't agree with having them outside of marriage. but I would say between 5 and 7 years is ok...after that...is way too long. but it depends on your age and if your personal feelings of marriage and what it means.

Absolutely no correct answer for this question. Each person, their feelings, and their parthner's feelings are diffrent, and never the same!!! If you are worried about this question, maybe try to stop thinking about getting hitched so soon. As it seems that maybe you want to be married, but too worried about what others thinks. If so worried about other's opinions your marriage won't last anyways. Because You have to think for yourself. If you've had sex allready, what does it really matter now about marriage?

I would say minimum one to two years and anything after that is fine as long as you really know each other and are ready to settle down and commit for a life time.

there is no time limit....you marry when you both feel that the time is right.....maybe you should get engaged and have a long engagement see how things go, and give the actual MARRIAGE thing some time, also this would make it an easier transition.

Everybody is an individual, therefore everyone waits at different rates. I myself feel that you should wait at least a year.
