Well, it all depends. After the popularity of the first film, they decided a sequel should be made. It's great if you are a Battle Royale fan but as a movie, it doesn't live up to it's expectations. It has the same Battle Royale-style violence and mission but the hidden background plot is pretty complex. Some say they made it just for the money, I say it was for the fans. Most fans enjoy it but it'll never be as great as the first film.
