. what code would i dial to call australia?or say if they wanted to call usa. whats are the counrty codes??

Here in the UK, BT provide a list of dialing codes that I'm pretty sure is the same anywhere else in the world (you just need to replace the "+" with whatever your country requires to contact other countries (for example, here its 00).

USA is 1 of course, dial 00 and the operator can give you the country code for every one else.

They should be listed in the front of your phone book, or call 411.
