Stevie Ray Vaughan. Hands down.
He was talking to people about not doing drugs and drinking, in the middle of his concerts. He was reborn and clean and sober for 4 years when he died in the hellicopter crash at age 35, 36 days before his 36th birthday....on the same day his father died 4 years earlier. How strange is that?
He was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame as the FIRST White man ever. He was a genius musician and guitar player and influenced so many guitarist of today like Wes Jeans, Jeff Healey, etc...so many others.
He would have made the world a better place because of his music, his influence and the fight he was fighting for the anti drug campaign. He could have saved many more lives than he already had. I miss him every single day. He was someone I will always be thankful for and cherish.

Well... there are several one could say, but probably the one who would have a most significant impact would be Mohammed.
I'm not of the Islamic faith, but Mohammed and his Koran preached a message that belief in God was enough to go to heaven. If Mohammed came back and saw what was happening in the highly Muslim regions of the world today, he would be sick. There is constant turmoil, hatred of Israel, and multibillion dollar oil industry (one of the key pillars of Islam is giving alms to those who need it.. something the leaders of the Middle East simply aren't doing).
If Mohammed came back with his message,it may cause a new revolution in the Middle East, one of cummonion.
Now, I am not saying other faiths are not in similar turmoils. If Jesus came back, it would likely clean up an immoral Western World. But, if we consier a better world a safer one (not necessarily a cleaner one), then Mohammed would likely be a better candidate for ressurection.

This was an amazing question, that triggered a lot of amazing answers. I would say my daughter, LaQuita for she died too young age 17 before she got a chance to enjoy life, At her homegoing services, there were several speakers and they mentioned that she was so different, sweet, and was an angel, so forgiving, I learned a lot from my daughter re: forgiving and appreciating your family. I Still MISS her very MUCh and I know had she lived, this world would have been a better place w/ her in it....loving and forgiving, giving and etc.

I could be very selfish and want my Mom and Dad back -to give me a chance to love them some more - but because I view the world as a place where we need people who are grounded, dedicated and commited to help us move forward in this race of politics, and togetherness - I would opt for the return of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

I know a lot of people would say John Lennon. I would go for Bruce Lee. I know he was more an entertainer and less a world activist, but his presence on this earth was filled with amazing achievements and feats that defied the norm...
Mentioning Jesus is ridiculous, because three days after his death, he was resurrected to a life in heaven. So, he's not dead people! He is in heaven as king.

princess di, she showed the world that title can make a difference. she set the example for all the other world leaders. she was the embodiment of charity, grace, love, and kindness. the world is a darker place without her light. and angelina jolie is doing an ok job of living up to her, but it's just not the same. she lacks the quiet dignity that the princess had. i, for one, miss her, she made a difference in so many lives.

My Dad. He had a heart of gold. He was a Mormon Bishop that helped so many people, He was a great man, at his funeral, people were lined up for blocks to come in and pay their respect.
If tears could build a stairway,
And memories a lane,
I'd walk right up into heaven,
And bring you home again.
So you could do it all over again, I Love you, Dad
And that's why!

Jesus has already given us everything we need to make the world a better place; we just gotta get it together--- but I, too, am ready for Him to come back. I sure do miss my granny, too, and she loved everyone and everyone loved her. And she made the best cinnamon rolls!
