I wouldn't go over the top and wear something like a short skirt and tank top. I would say a cute pair of jeans and a cute top. If you have really broad sholders like most guys then try to find a top that doesn't bring attention to them. Also don't wear something that is too fitted/tight because guys don't have curves where girls do. I probably didn't help but oh well. Take care.

Can I suggest that you head to the mall and sit for a while and watch what others are wearing, make note of the things that you love and then shop for the clothes that say something to you.
There are cross dresser/ Transgender sites on E-Bay but my friends prefer to shop at the tall girls section in stores. Just please be careful, some folks just don't get it and what they don't understand can hurt you through no fault of your own. Good luck!

I would go with a very nice top and a long skirt. I love red with black combination. also I would wear nice flays I wouldn't try heels yet. And to top it off wear a pair of black tights.

I'd suggest some sort of jeans -- that way people won't be able to tell so much by the shape of your legs that you are male.
