anyone know the story behind his scars? was it a childhood disease or what?

Seal has distinctive scars under his eyes, left by a skin ailment called discoid lupus (which makes the immune system hyperactive and attacks normal tissue) when he was young.

SEAL is the sound of real music, lupus caused the scaring. Imagine being a sick child and surviving something as serious as this disorder.

THOSE SCARS ARE FROM A CHILDHOOD DISEASE. HE DID MENTION IT IN AN INTERVIEW ONE TIME.
