the top of air box has a place for a hose, then goes down to the crankcase, but the air box has no place to attatch another hose under the air box that would run out to bundle with my carb vents, so does it just go from crankcase to top of air box?

I went to Power Sports Pro's website and pulled up the parts fiche for your bike. It appears that scooter had a condensation cup that was fed by the crankcase vent hose and drained from there.

When the oil heats up in the crankcase, it creates fumes that escape through the crankcase vent. The fumes go into the air box to be trapped in the air cleaner and enter the engine to be burned along with the fuel. EPA stuff.
