pointless device! If your not at home then it means you are doing something so why do you need someone calling you and interrupting what you already had planned. Another thing, cell phones are not a good security device, on the contrary it creates a false security. People think that nothing can happen to them if they have a cell phone, but by the time they dial 911 for the police they would probably be killed or robbed.

I use my cell only when I'm out of the house like at work or driving long distance. It is used for emergency purposes and to contact family members for conveying important information. I discourage friends from calling me on cell phone as far as possible and give my cell no. to only most essential people. That way I prevent cell phone from becoming a headache.

The cell phone was a great invention. But... usage is getting quite out of hand. The worst is people that dont use headsets while driving. There is no reason to hold your phone and drive these days! Most phones have speakerphones now! Due to peoples stupidity... the government will soon outline the way, when, where and why we use them.

Mine is like a lifeline to my family and friends, and work, and entertainment.....wherever I happen to be. It has an alarm clock, and a calendar to set appointments. I can Text message, take and send pictures, read the news and check my e-mail. Not to mention play games All right there in the palm of my hand. It's convenience. I Like Convenience.
What kinda of fraud happened in Japan? I guess I must have missed that.

Fruad is all over the world. You have to be safe and willing to take the steps to protect yourself. I've not had any bad experiences with my cell phone. I like to have mine in case of an emergency or if my children's school needs a parent. The uses are unlimited and the risks are there. You need to decide for yourself. No one can make up your mind. =o)

Overall I think a cell phone is a useful thing. Should you get into a car wreck or run out of gas it can be used to call for help.

Yin & Yang. There will always be people who take advantage of advances made for good uses. It would be foolish to not continue to create better and better technologies just because someone could use it for evil. We just need to stay a step ahead or be quick to catch up with criminals and minimize the negative effects of inovation.

im happy i can help : i think of cellular telephones are sure , very useful. everywhere you're (properly, no longer everywhere yet you be attentive to) you are able to call the polce or your mom and pa in case you decide on them. they are particularly solid in a case of an emergency. despite in case you have a low value one which is okay. for my area, all and sundry on the instant could have a cellular telephone in the event that they are going some the place without a determine or yet another individual (:
