enkil was king, but akasha killed him. lestat was merely her consort although she offered him kingship if he killed off the other vampires who were resisting her. btw, the movie sucked a*ss. i think that interview with the vampire was pretty decent, all things considered. cruise is perfect as lestat, and brad pitt with them big weepy eyes? oh yeah, my definite picture of louis.
