Final four Predictions.... Brasil, England, Netherlands, Argentina......Agree or Disagree???

Disagree... Close though. The first quarter, Argentina will emerge. They will beat Mexico. Germany will beat Sweden and then Germany will have to play Argentina. Unfortunatly for the home fans, Argentina will win resulting in the elimination of Germany. Thus Argentina will be one of the last 4.

Second qarter, this is a weak quarter. It will probably be Italy that will emerge, however they will then easily be eliminated by Argentina.

Third quarter, England will beat Ecuador. At the same time the Netherlands will beat Portugal, which hasn´t played impresivily this year. Then England and the Netherlands will play. The Netherlands will emerge victorious over England. Thus The Netherlands will be in the final 4.

Fourth quarter. Brazil will beat Ghana (although I don't rule out Ghana surprisingly. I believe they could cuz for a nice surprise). Spain will beat its (so far unknown) opponent resulting in the match Brazil - Spain. Brazil will likely emerge the winner, thus becoming one of the final four.

Going even further, Argentina will beat Italy, the Netherlands will beat Brazil, and in the finals the Netherlands will beat the Argentinians. Thus, the Netherlands (one of the youngest teams in average age in the tournament) will be the World Champions 2006.

A lot of you wont like this, most of you will disagree. It's just my opinion. We'll see what happens in the coming weeks!

Strongly Disagree with some, especially considering England could meet the Netherlands in the 1/4 finals, eliminating the chance of having both in the final 4!!!!!!

England haven't shown enough form against stronger teams (such as Sweden) and it wouldn't surprise me if the don't go further than the round of 16, Ecuador are under rated & can easily open them up!!!!

Brazil is diffiuclt to say, going on the past they should be there but there current form isn't that great (a 2-0 nil win over Australia isn't convincing, plus the score line didn't flatter the way Australia played).

Netherlands and Argentina i agree with, very strong teams (however Netherlands Vs Portugal will be a great match)!!!

Czech Republic are a very good side, however poor form and injuries are worrying, but i'll still put them in the final 4, (if they qualify, lol).

My Final four is Argentina, Czech Republic, Spain, Netherlands!!!

Brasil and the Netherlands cannot be in the last four since , if they win their games in the round of 16 and the Quarter Finals, they will have to play each other in the Semi Finals.. It is not possible for them to be in the last four!

For England to make it, they'll have to beat Ecuador, then possibly Portugal or the Netherlands in the Quarter Finals... So, England and the Netherlands cannot be in the final 4!

Argentina will have to play Germany in the Quarter Final if they win their game against Mexico. But, I think Germany will be victorious in that game..

I would have to disagree because I do see Germany going to the final 4, but I don't think that England and the Netherlands will be in the final four....which leaves me to predict that the final four will be: Brazil, Germany, Spain and Argentina. I could be wrong, but for now, I'll stick with these 4.

Argentina will beath Germany.
England hasn't played well this tourney, so I am going with Portugal.
Ukraine is good, but not good enough. Handing it to to Italians.
For Spain and Brazil, I think that Brazil has power, but Spain can come back, like their 3-1 win over Tunisia. THey also can beocme a power like 4-0 over Ukraine. If they play like the Saudi Arabian 1-0 win, Brazil will advance, but I doubt it. Going with Spain.

I personally see Spain in the finals against either Argentina or Portugal. And I see Spain coming in second.
So, to further the answer, my picks for the win are Argentina and Portugal

I disagree....England and Netherlands both can't make it to the final 4 because they are coming out of the same grouping.

I think the final 4 will be: Brasil, Germany, Portugal, and Ukraine. It is definantly a close call as this world cup has no team has really dominated and there a some tough matchups in the round of 16

Well I have to disagree with not only you but a bunch of other people. Both England and Netherlands can't be in the final 4, seeing as how they have the possibility of playing each other in the 1/4 final. Not to mention, England hasn't really impressed me and they usually choke anyways. I think it's funny that so many people aren't paying attention to the draw this late into the tournament. So to help some people out, I'll tell you how to pick your final 4, since so many don't pay attention. Just pick 1 (yes, just 1) from each of the following groups:

1. Germany, Sweden, Argentina, Mexico
2. England, Ecuador, Portugal, Netherlands
3. Italy, 2nd Group F, 1st Group G, 2nd Group H
4. 1st Group F, Ghana, 1st Group H, 2nd Group G

Now to go even further, I'll give my predictions for the outcome of groups F, G, and H:

Group F: Brazil 1st, Croatia 2nd
Group G: Switzerland 1st, Korea Republic 2nd
Group H: Spain 1st, Ukraine 2nd

Now, these are just predictions, and with these predictions I'll make the list again:
