I think that we are way overdue for a series about gay alien cowbows who slowly turn heterosexual and go after housewifes from another dimension. The drama would involve trying to figure out who is alien, who is gay, who just turned straight, and the housewifes would get all confused. One episode: The straight housewife likes the water delivery guy, but she is not sure if he is alien, straight, gay or all three. The comedy is that the world decides to build a bubble around the planet to keep the aliens from entering earth. However, the engineers are all Mexicans, so they build a hole in the bubble that lets in bisexual actors only. Halley Barry stars as the confused protagonist. Then...oh oh, I got go get a copyright! So long.

Real life comedy/drama (ie Grey's Anatomy) about middle school teachers in everyday America, in a suburb of a major city. Not so much about students (they're kind of a backdrop) administrators, district office, and community individuals. Loves, hates, no real death and gore, but topical, funny and thought provoking according to current topics. Main character's name is Mr Diller, and I'd call it ..... Diller a Dollar or like the name of the school "Madison Middle" then its set in a town called Madison.

This won't be a One Tree Hill, or OC kind a show. Not a bunch of hotties doin the boyfriend/girlfriend bed jumpin thing though.

I would combine two and do a comedy sci-fi. Just think of the possibilities!

comedy.

You can do a few episodes with a pregant woman about to give birth who eventually does give birth to a child.

Just about EVERY TV show in history has had episodes with pregant women giving birth. It makes for good comedy that everyone likes. Heck, you can take scripts from old TV shows about childbirth and combine them. They are basically all the same anyways :)
