Where to get an agent? Where do you live? If it's not a major city - look in the phone book. If it is a major city - look in the fashion section of the paper and they should list the agency who supplied the model in the credits. Call them to find out when they do 'open calls'. Bring a few snapshots of yourself and they'll decide from there whether or not they want you.

Remember not to pay money for classes or to spend an huge amount of money on pics for your book. And also remember that professional photos should *NEVER* look like a senior yearbook or similar.

Most importantly, be realistic with yourself and what you want. Do you want to be High Fashion? Better be at least 6' tall with a great body and face. Local stuff? You need to have clear skin and be marketable. You also should be in good shape and be taller than the local models. Want to do commericals? You have to be able to speak well and have a great smile. Don't meet these standards? Then you need to be extra careful when looking for an agent to make sure that they aren't just looking for your money.

If you live in New York or Los Angeles, ask your parents to find a talent agent for you. Of course, you will need a resume of all of the plays you have performed in, including skills: dancing (tap, jazz, ballet) and your singing - include your vocal range on your resume.

it helps if you live in LA. and you should have lots of money to pay an agent to get you jobs as someone who walks across the back of the screen on friends.

Go to a modeling agency with your mother, parents, or whoever. Bring your book of photos. Let your availability be known.
