Crawford graduated from high school as valedictorian with a 4.0 GPA. She won an academic scholarship to study chemical engineering at Northwestern University, which she attended for only one quarter. She dropped out in order to pursue a full-time modeling career. After working for photographer Victor Skrebneski in Chicago, Cindy moved to New York City in 1986.

Why do people think that just because she's gorgeous, she can't also be intelligent?

Let's see how long it would take you to make this choice:

1) Study a hard, technical subject for 6 or 7 years (including graduate & doctorate), then get a career starting at maybe $30,000/yr (this was 15 years ago). Work your way up the ladder in a male-dominated industry, so that after 25 years, you're maybe making $200,000/year, possibly as much as $500,000 if you get into management, while putting in 50-60 hour weeks.

2) Skip college, and immediately start on a career where the top paid models make $5,000 (then, $10,000 now) per day in their teens and 20s. Fly all over the world, become famous & and an international sex symbol, and marry a movie star. Collect enough endorsements that even when your primary career is over, and you're semi-retired, you're raking in close to $9 million/year at 40.

Right, she's SO dumb....
