The women have always told me not to touch their nipples when they are close to their period so I am guessing that this a normal thing, but as with any major changes in body functions or reactions,If the pain is alot worse than normal for you,I would recommend seeing your family doctor.
Good luck with those nipples.I hope the pain subsides for ya soon.

well my nipples hurt for the week I was suppose to get my period. Kind of sounds like it. Take a first response 5 days early test. It told me I was pregnant 2 days late too.

I am a guy but I have heard that does happen. You will also experiance abdominal cramps Chamomile tea will help ease them and it is a natural remedy. Also if you have someone that can rub you abdomin it relives the discomfort.I do that for my wife when that time of the month comes. This is all a normal part of growing up ask your mom to take you to the doctor to help you make this transition into womanhood.Best of luck to you.

compleatly normal, the only other time thay hurt is a long time after your pregnant (but dont worry its differnet pain its the whole bood in excrutiating pain to the touch) its realy very normal, it hapens to me to, and a lot of my frineds. just work through it, and if they realy get sore, there are pads you can get at a store mad from various thngs including silocone that go in your bra to pad your nipples for getting bumped and paining, there in the bra department at walmart, and they work for most ppls, there ment for pregnant wemon fo trhe same reasons..other than that, have a happy period

It can be normal... Do your self-breast exam in 5 days after your period has ended.. that would help you figure out... if no tenderness or masses, then all is well.. if there is go to your GP.

maybe you are on stage of adolescence.. its just natural for a woman to experirnce something like that.. but if you are not in the age of adolescence, then its time for you to check your doctor for this. as girls, just few reminder... pls try not to carrry haeavy objects cause this may affect your breast. pls not also wear very tight bras especially those with aluminum on its cap cause this may cause severe or light breast disorder.

Mine are sensitive as well, but if they hurt more than normal you might want to consider seeing your doctor about it.

Usually it is due to hormonal changes after ovulation takes place. You have progesterone release and it is called luteal phase, which changes your mood, breast tenderness..etc.. If you have fibrocystic breast, it will make it more painful. Since fibrocystic makes breast all lumpy, sometimes it makes it harder to detect breast cancer. That is why frequent visit to your doctor is important.
