How long does a charge on a 30 GB iPod take? I need help!! Read below..?

I got my iPod before June and I only charged it for 1 hour. Does that mean that it doesn't have much battery life? How can I get it so that I can have a longer battery life now?? I need some help! HURRY!!!!

Can't you tell by looking at the little battery meter on the top right corner of the screen? Plug your iPod into your computer and let it charge while you sleep.
