Sun damaged skin is there. Sorry, but the way to help takes a little work on your part.
Keep your hands protected from further sun exposure. By using a strong blocker. In the time you are not in the sun, exfoliate to remove the top layer of skin giving the under layer a chance to surface.
It will take a little time but over a period your new skin will be the color it started.
To exfoliate, use a mixture of baking soda and salt with lemon juice. Rub the skin a couple times a day. Do not rub the skin raw. It could cause damage. Be sure to keep those hands from the sun with sun blocker.
If your hands are damaged, the home method may leave some marks that went so deep, it will have to be seen by a physician.

Whitening creams or lotions can be a little costly. A lot of pacific islanders place sliced pineapple on the skin for 15 minutes and rinse with coconut milk. The acid in pineapple peals the outer layer of skin (painlessly) and provides natural nutrients to the skin underneath. The coconut milk basically moisturizes and neutralizes skin tone. I would stay away from lemon juice...the acid of lemon juice is too strong and it can cause burning and stripping. You don't need sunscreen that is over SPF 30, because it is useless.

Your natural color will come back in time. Use sun BLOCK. it works differently than sunscreen and blocks out all UV rays. Also, use something everyday, even when it's cloudy out because the UV rays may penetrate clouds. Also, cocoa Butter when worn in the sun is sometimes used as a tanning butter. It helps with discolorations, just be sure to use it inside;)

If you want, use a skin toner, and a lighter for skin discolor. Or just get in some sun and try to even out. Just enough to tan, not to burn.
ambi, or something like that, it depends on how dark you say you are.

buy simple whitening moiturizers to apply daily and wait for it to fade out. also try not to wear sleeveless tops or clothes which expose your arms and hands for the time being.

well now that you know that your hands/arms tan easily get a good sun block with spf 50 and higher to prevent this from happening in the future.

cheers :)

this might sound crazy, but before bed apply a skin lightening cream eg. jolenes skin bleach, dr. palmer's skin success fade cream. you should wear gloves to sleep because your hands will sweat and means your pores will be open to better absorb the cream. cocoa butter will do as well. during the day apply a stronger sunblock to your hands and reapply often. do not use a regular sunscreen, that will make you tan, use one with zinc.

Make a paste of sandalwood powder and lemon juice. Apply it on the tanned areas till it dries off and gently wash it off with cold water. Also you can use tomato juice.........Drink atleast 8-10 glass of water, and do apply a sunscren lotion with high SPF before stepping out of the house.

it should fade out, just stay out of the sun, and use a scrub not harsh. takes time, but it will work unless you have damaged your skin from too much sun.
