Im a Singaporean so I will be changing Singapore Dollars to Thai Bhat to use there. My husband and I are going there and its our first time. We intend to do shopping, eat at nice restaurants and visit the Phi Phi Islands.

So I would like to know how much money we should bring or rather how much would we need to spend for 3 days?

Thank you.

Are you just gonna stay in Krabi or are you going to stay in an island near Krabi? If you're staying in Krabi for 3 days and visiting Phi Phi Island at the same time, i reccomend you to go to Koh Lanta which is about 2 hours from Krabi and since it's not high season in that island anymore then you can get cheap accomodation and there are many things to do around the island and you can go to Phi Phi island from Koh Lanta and do the 'five islands (ko Ha)' trip at the same day..there are many good restaurants in Koh Lanta too..It's a beautiful place..depends on what kind of acomodation you want to stay, and the food should be cheap too..accomodation start from THB300-THB500 or there is also some big resort whihc charged starting at THB1000-THB10000.boat rip to Phi Phi is not that expensive too..so i guess for 3 days, 2 persons, plus bus fare, boat trip and food, THB 7000 is more than enough...there are money changer and ATM machines just in case you need more cash..I found Krabi pretty boring thats why I am suggesting you to go to Koh Lanta

You can budget about $20 for lunch and $30 for dinner each day, this should be ok. I believe the hotel provides breakfast. Travelling around by boat, prepare about $50 each for the day trip. This should be nice and comfortable. Shopping will be extras, up to you. You may get slightly better exchange rate if you change when you arrive there. There will be a few currency exchange counters at the airport or exchange booths in town, and you can also use the ATMs which provide pretty good exchange rates too. You can use your credit cards at most shops too. Consider this. Just need some change for tips to the bellboy or porter when you arrive. You can take your time to change currency. No need to rush.
Have a nice holiday. You may want to stay longer though when you see the place.
