"Swimming: This is an excellent way to exercise when you're pregnant. Swimming tones most of your muscles and is a good way to build up your stamina. Your body weight is supported by the water, so you're unlikely to strain or injure any of your muscles and joints. Some sports centres offer special swimming classes for pregnant women"

check with your doctor - most doctors actually recommend GENTLE water excises in a swimming pool.
there may even be a pool near you that that runs classes (with a midwife involved too would be even better) aimed at pregnant women.
I used to go most weeks in latter pregnancy which i found did help my back for a couple of days after - when my son was born he loved being in the water and still does.
