yea that first answer you got up there is not how it is always done, and is actually rare instances. Thats just what peeps say to scare the **** out of you and make it sound like such a horrible thing.
It is like the other person said, depends on how far along you are. Check out planned parenthood or something. See if they have a website or do more research about it on the net.

If it is a large fetus, it is "killed", cut up and removed from the womb, only to be reassemled in a bowl to make sure all the parts were removed.

In health class in high school they told us that a tube with a vacuum and litle tiny blades on the end goes in to the uterus and slices the fetus up and sucks it up. . .

It kills it by cracking its skull and sucking its brain out with a hose and then the body, if small enough, is sucked through the same hose and if it's too big it's thrown in the garbage.

depends at what stage its in. as a zygote its just scraped off the wall and flushed out. the ol' scrape'n'douche. further along its the ol' stir'n'suck or my favourite, the ol' chop'n'dump.

totally depends on how far along you are......but it always kills the baby.....and never in a nice way
