There's a nifty program called Deny Buddy. Google out for it. Its ultra cool!! Kicked some butt with it and now I don't have IMs from ppl whom I don't like :P

My DSL man downloaded it for me.

http://www.cheetachat.com/ has CAPTCHA support I believe, which will cut down on bot spam. Not sure if it still works with Yahoo! or not though.
