Absolutely (not to scare you) - but the pill has to be taken at the same time everyday, can be hard to remember... check out this site. Says there is a 5% chance of pregnancy with the pill.

Yes, you can get pregnant on the pill. If you want to keep the baby stop taking the pill immediantly to provent many birth defects. If you do not want the child continue taking the pill and talk to your doctor. As long as you take the pill daily you should be safe but most bc pills are only 98% sure. There is still a 2% chance that you can get pregnant.

During the first year of use, about 1 in 10 sexually active women will get pregnant on the Pill. The main reasons for this (in no particular order) are forgetting to take a pill, taking them at a different time each day, vomiting (so you don't actually absorb the drug), and taking drugs (usually antibiotics) that interfere with the effectiveness of the Pill. If you have used it effectively for more than a year, it is more effective than during the first year.
How much taking the pill at different times of day affects your chances of conceiving depends on the dosage of your prescription (higher dosage, lower chance of pregnancy), whether it has estrogen or not (estrogen lowers the chance of pregnancy), and other factors that aren't measurable.

The pill is not 100% effective. Its percentage of preventing pregnancy increases as you take it correctly. That means taking it at the same time everyday and not missing any pills. You should still use other means if you insure that you will not get pregnant.

Yes
Of every 1000 women who take the pills perfectly for a year, only 3 will end up pregnant. So the pill is not 100% effective, but it's close.
My kids are living proof.
Only birth control that is 100% is absinence.

Yes, the only way you can not get pregnant is by having sex. There is nothing 100% able to prevent unwanted pregnancies. You say you take your pill everyday, but yes, there could still be a pregnancy.

yes you can get pregnant while on the pill and also get std's. The pill only is effective against pregnancy but not 100%. So if you are not using them correctly i would use a 2nd contraceptive as well to have better odds.

Yes you can even get pregnant being on the pill and him wearing a condom i have friends who have done both and still get pregnant the most safest way is for you to take the pill and let him wear one but let him pull out that gives you a 99.9 percent for you not to get pregnant

definitely! Believe me I know from experience. I took my pill every day. But not exactly at the same time because my schedules for the next day would always change. I was one birth control for about 4 months and discovered that I was pregnant!

The doctors have told me before, that the "time" you take it is just supposed to help you remember to take it each day. i don't think it really matters what time.
Of course, isn't there a 1% chance that you CAN still get pregnant? I would think it's more than that, so be careful.
Don't take any chances....use more protection if you aren't looking to have a child anytime soon.
